Who I am

Hi there!

If you’re reading this, there’s a good chance I’ve queried you, and you’re doing a little investigative scrolling to see if I’d be a good fit for your list. First of all—hi. Second—thank you for being curious enough to click.

By day, I work in communications for a global software company, which means I spend a lot of time writing, editing, shaping narratives, and collaborating across teams. I’m no stranger to feedback (I actually love it) or to refining something until it sings. Before this, I did similar work for an NBA team, a marketing agency, a magazine, and a newspaper. Storytelling has always been the through line.

But if we’re being honest, my heart belongs to fiction. I've been writing fantasy since fifth grade—when I was so upset that the lion died in The Chronicles of Narnia that I turned off the TV before the resurrection and rewrote the ending myself.

Outside of work, I’m happiest outdoors—hiking trails, trying to outwalk a plot problem, or chasing golden hour with my dog, Meeko (yes, named after the raccoon in Pocahontas). We’ve been inseparable for nearly seven years, and she fully believes you need a sniff stop every ten feet.

I also love to travel and have no hesitation hopping on a plane solo. My current novel has traveled with me to eleven countries, and there’s a subtle nod to each woven into its pages.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing & Creative Writing and a Master’s in Advertising & Public Relations.

Meeko and I live in the very underrated state of Alabama, where I’m usually drafting my next novel, planning my next trip, or experimenting with the perfect iced mocha ratio.
